2023 Chengdu Auto Show: Mobis M.Vision 2GO concept car unveiled

On August 24, the M.Vision 2Go concept car developed by Mobis, Kia’s largest parts supplier, was unveiled at the Kia booth. It is reported that this is a hydrogen fuel concept car equipped with a self-developed 30kW hydrogen fuel cell module and has a driving range of up to 200km.

Mobis’ hydrogen energy mobility concept vehicle M.Vision 2GO is based on M.Vision POP and applies the latest e-Corner module technology. The vehicle can travel sideways and even make a 360° U-turn on the spot. The application of this technology will also make parallel parking a reality, thereby increasing the convenience, fun and flexibility of driving.

The cargo space of M.Vision 2GO is about 600L, and the rear cargo volume is enlarged, which not only provides enough space for package loading, but also allows the space layout to be adjusted as needed. Not only that, M.Vision 2GO also sets up LED advertising modules to further increase the commercial practicality of the vehicle.

In addition, Mobis has already made plans for hydrogen power generation buildings. The "hydrogen emergency power generation system" located in the Mobis hydrogen fuel cell factory in South Korea has begun trial operation. The hydrogen energy emergency power generation system can be used as an emergency power source when the factory has a power outage, and can also be used as an auxiliary power source during seasonal power peak periods. The system uses the same battery from the mass-produced Nexo hydrogen fuel pure electric vehicle. Five automotive hydrogen fuel cells are connected to form a power generation system with a maximum capacity of 450kW, which is approximately 7% of the factory’s total power consumption.
