At the opening of the Beijing Auto Show, Bitauto's front-end exploration team captured a set of photos of the U7 looking up at the actual car. The new car is positioned as a million-level new energy flagship sedan and will be equipped with Bitauto's platform technology and provide four wheels and four motors. According to previous reports, the new car will be officially unveiled on April 25.
In terms of appearance, the U7 adopts the "Gateway of Time and Space" family language. The new car has a downward posture as a whole, and the family's iconic headlight group shape makes its front face more recognizable. In addition, the roof is equipped with lidar.
From the side of the body, looking up, the U7 adopts a classic fastback design, and is equipped with frameless doors and hidden door handles. In terms of rims, the new car uses large-sized dense-spoke rims with the brand logo looking up in the center. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 5265*1998*1517mm, and the wheelbase reaches 3160mm. In addition, due to the body flow control technology and the optimized design of multiple aerodynamic accessories, the drag coefficient of the U7 is only 0.195Cd.
At the rear, the new car uses a through-type taillight set, with dynamic lines and muscular rear wheel arches, making the rear look full of three-dimensionality.
In terms of power, the U7 will be equipped with Yi Sifang platform technology, providing four wheels and four motors, with a maximum power of 240 kilowatts per motor. In terms of battery, it is equipped with lithium iron phosphate batteries produced by Xiangyang Fudi Battery Co., Ltd.
