On September 1, BYD announced August sales data. 8Monthly sales were 274,386 units, of which 274,086 were passenger cars, a year-on-year increase of 57.5%. From January to August 2023, BYD's cumulative sales of passenger cars reached 1,783,352 units.
BYD's two major sales networks, Dynasty and Ocean, sold a total of 262,571 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 50.9%. The Denza brand sold 11,515 vehicles in August. Passenger car exports in August were 25,023 units, a year-on-year increase of 37.7%.
