Ferrari announces four new cars for 2023, including Roma convertible

Recently, Ferrari announced that it will release four new models in 2023, including a new V12 car (the successor of the 812 Superfast, which may be released by the end of the year); a higher-performance version of the SF90 Stradale; and a new Icona series car, following the SP1, SP2 and SP3.

From 2023 to 2026, Ferrari plans to launch 15 new cars, including the first pure electric car and the new Hypercar.

In terms of appearance, although the new car is extremely heavily camouflaged, we can speculate based on the current Ferrari Roma. The most eye-catching feature of the Roma model is the front grille in the same color as the body, which has a strong sense of unity. In the lower enclosure part, the brake air guides on both sides are exposed. As for the headlights, the headlights are separated by horizontally arranged LED daytime running lights, which are very recognizable. The light groups are slightly raised and connected to the grille to create a strong performance atmosphere.

On the side of the car body, the overall outline of the Ferrari Roma convertible version is consistent with that of the coupe version. They are both in the style of a retro GT sports car with long front overhang and short rear overhang. The overall shape is very elegant. The roof part is camouflaged, so the convertible form of the vehicle is not yet known.

In the rear part of the car, the rear window is heavily camouflaged, so the shape of the rear window created by the convertible version cannot be determined for the time being. As for the taillights, the LED taillights arranged horizontally inside the single-sided double rectangular taillight group are different from the coupe version. It is expected that the relevant styling of the Roma model will be changed in the future. In the lower enclosure part, the large-size exhaust shape with four outlets on both sides retains the car's distinctiveness as a Ferrari.

For the power part, there is no more exposure for the time being. It is expected to be equipped with a 3.9T twin-turbocharged V8 engine with a maximum output of 620 horsepower and a maximum torque of 760 Nm. In terms of transmission, the Roma convertible version is equipped with an 8-speed wet dual-clutch gearbox.

Ferrariā€™s revenue in 2022 will be 5.095 billion euros, net profit will reach 939 million euros, and free cash flow will be 758 million euros. Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna said: "This performance lays the foundation for an even stronger development for the company in 2023, as demand for our products continues to be high around the world."
