Kia recalls over 400,000 K3/Shor models overseas due to airbag hazards

Recently, Kia recalled a total of 410,619 Forte (domestic K3) and Soul (domestic Soul) series models in the U.S. market, including fuel and electric versions. The reason for the recall was that there was a hidden danger in the airbags.

It is reported that the vehicles covered by this recall are 2017-2019 modelsForte, Soul and Soul EV models. The reason for the recall is that vehicle airbags have hidden dangers that may cause the airbags to fail in the event of an accident. Kia will replace corresponding parts for the recalled vehicles to ensure that the airbags function properly.

This problem was first discovered in South Korea, but thankfully, although the problem is serious, Kia has not had any driver deaths due to this failure so far.
