At the 2023 New York Auto Show, Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness was unveiled. The new car is not only equipped with an off-road package, but also has an increased ground clearance. The off-road performance attributes have been further enhanced, and its competitor is targeted at the Jeep Compass Wildness.
Compared with the Subaru Crosstrek, the Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness has a strong crossover style. Not only does the front face adopt a new style of grille shape. Rough off-road kits are also equipped around the body, which enhances the off-road atmosphere. In addition, special edition logos are added around the body to highlight its identity.
Interior DepartmentThe layout is basically the same as that of the regular version, with Wilderness elements added for embellishment. In terms of configuration, the new car is equipped with an 11.6-inch central control screen that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto mobile phone interconnection.
In terms of power, the Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness is equipped with a 2.5-liter horizontally opposed engine with a maximum power of 185 horsepower and a maximum torque of 238 Nm. The transmission part is matched with a CVT gearbox and equipped with an X-Mode four-wheel drive system. It is worth mentioning that the new car has been upgraded for the chassis and the suspension travel has been increased, giving it a ground clearance of 234mm.
